Privacy Policy

This explains what Steepa collects when you buy the Philips LatteGo Series 5500, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. What we collect

When you order, we collect your name, email address, delivery address, billing address and phone number if you give one. We need these to take payment, ship your order and contact you about it.

When you browse, we collect the pages you view, the approximate location your network resolves to, and which advert or link brought you here. This is how we tell which campaigns are worth running.

We do not collect your card number. It goes from your browser to Stripe directly. What comes back to us is the last four digits, the card brand and whether the payment succeeded.

2. Why we are allowed to hold it

Order and delivery details we hold because we cannot perform the contract without them. Analytics and advertising data we hold on the basis of consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

We keep tax records for as long as the law requires, which is usually seven years. Marketing data we delete after two years of no contact.

3. Who else sees it

Stripe, to process payment. Our shipping carriers, to deliver your parcel. Our email provider, to send your confirmation. Meta and TikTok, if you have accepted advertising cookies, so we can measure which adverts led to sales.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone who is not doing one of the jobs above.

4. Advertising and measurement

We run the Meta pixel and the TikTok pixel. They record that a purchase happened and its value, matched to a hashed version of your email. Hashing means the advertising platform can match you if you already have an account with them, but cannot read your address from us.

Decline advertising cookies and neither pixel fires.

5. What you can ask for

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@steepa.shop and we will respond within thirty days.

Deletion has one limit. We cannot delete an order record we are legally required to keep for tax, though we can remove you from everything else.

6. Keeping it safe

The site runs over HTTPS. Payment pages are served by Stripe. Access to order data is limited to the people who handle orders and support. If a breach ever affected your data we would tell you and the relevant regulator.
